Evia Star is a cruiser stern narrowboat built by Simolda in 1989. She has a Lister Petter engine new in 2011. There are 4 berths consisting of a fixed double and a convertible sofa in the saloon. Heating and hot water is by Ellis gas boiler. There is a pump-out toilet and shower. Headroom is 6’ 2”.

Stern deck—large 8ft cruiser stern with rail around, canvass dodger and a cover over. Non-slip deck boards with good access to the engine and generator. Steps down through steel doors and hatch to the cabin.
Bathroom—open area with a vanity basin, cupboard and mirror. Toilet and shower are in a compartment to the right, along with a full length wardrobe, a cupboard containing the calorifier and gas boiler with an airing cupboard over.
Bedroom—4ft wide fixed double bed with large drawers under and wall mounted cupboards over.
Galley—L-shaped with oven and separate grill, 2 burner hob, full sized fridge, white sink and drainer with mixer tap and cupboards and drawers under. Wall mounted cupboards and a microwave on a shelf.
Saloon—13ft saloon with a folding table and chairs, sofa/bed and a footstool. There are 2 cupboards on the forward bulkhead, one containing bookshelves and a radio/cassette player, DVD player with a small flat screen TV. Steps up through glazed doors to the well deck with a glazed cratch board, table and seating and a cratch cover over.
Overview—Evia Star has been fully refurbished from her hire boat origins with much re-fitting and nice laminate flooring throughout. She has had a new engine in 2011 and was re-bottomed in 2014 on the recommendation of a survey. A well equipped boat with a full inventory. There is a BSC to October 2021. |
