|Description:||Shambles is a cruiser stern narrowboat built by Cheshire Steelcraft in 1991. She has a Lister engine and gearbox. There are 2 berths consisting of a convertible settee. Heating is by solid fuel stove and diesel heater. Hot water is by gas water heater. There is a cassette toilet and a shower. Headroom is 6’ 2”.
Engine—Lister ST2 and reconditioned Lister LH150 gearbox .
Inverters—750W and a 3kW (not connected).
Batteries—one start and 3 x 110Ah domestic.
Electrics—12V system and 240V from the inverter or shoreline, Sterling alternator controller, Sterling 40A charger, 2 x 100W solar panels and controller.
Space Heating—solid fuel stove and an Eberspacher diesel heater running 3 radiators.
Water Heating—Rinnai gas water heater.
Cooker—Thetford oven with separate grill, Spinflo 4 burner hob.

Overview—Shambles is a misnomer. She is a very tidy, clean and well decorated boat; well equipped for living aboard, she has been well maintained and looked after by her owners. Re-painted last year, engine serviced and recently blacked, there is a survey from 2014 and she has a BSC to April 2022.
