Description: WHEN CALLING BOATFINDER ABOUT THIS BOAT PLEASE QUOTE REFERENCE 120012

A rare chance to own a little bit of history. ‘Mecca’ is a historic 70ft tug originally built in 1928 as a 69’ 11” open day boat for the London Midland and Scottish Railway Company, she was coverted to a ‘modern’ tug narrowboat with steel cabin and engine in 1990 and offers 4 berth accomodation including a Boatmans cabin, that could be extended to six with the addition of a sofa bed in the saloon. She has a Lister HP3 engine in its own engine room. She last had a survey in 2011 and was last out of the water for blacking in 2013. This is the boat that features in our company logo! Viewing is highly recommended.
