Description: Life of Riley is a reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat built by Streamline Fabrications in 2005. She was partly fitted out by Cheshire Narrowboats and completed by the first owner. She has a Beta 28 engine and a PRM 80 gearbox. There are 4 berths consisting of a fixed double and a convertible settee in the saloon. Heating is by Villager Puffin solid fuel stove and hot water is by calorifier from the engine. There is a Thetford cassette toilet with spare cassettes and a shower. Headroom is a generous 6’ 7“ in the saloon.

Engine—Beta 28 Greenline and PRM 80 gearbox. 2 alternators.
Inverter—IP3000 3kW, new in Sept. 2018.
Batteries—one start and 4 x 110Ah domestic.
Electrics—12V system and 240V from the inverter or shoreline. Sterling Pro-charge Ultra battery charger. 2 large solar panels.

Space Heating—Villager Puffin solid fuel stove.
Water Heating—calorifier from the engine.

Stern deck—6ft cruiser stern deck with good access to the engine under, 2 x 13kg gas bottles in lockers and central steel doors and hatch with steps down to the cabin. Storage and hanging compartments either side.

Galley—Walk through galley with a stainless steel sink/drainer, mixer tap and fridge to the left. Full sized cooker to the right and plenty of cupboards and drawers for storage under the wood effect worktops.

Saloon—9ft open plan with an L-shaped settee with storage under that converts to a double berth, solid fuel stove in a hearth and a side hatch. There is a 24” flat screen TV, book shelves and a drop-down coffee table.

Bathroom—Separate bathroom containing the cassette toilet, vanity basin with storage under and a shower in a glazed compartment. 2 shelves and storage next to the shower.

Bedroom—Fixed double bed with storage under and shelves above. Full height wardrobe. Steps up to the well deck with glazed cratch over and storage under. 300 litre stainless steel water tank in the bows.

Overview—Life of Riley is a tidy, well kept boat with a popular reverse layout. She has been recently blacked with new anodes (April 18), fitted with a new inverter and a new water pump. BSC to July 2022.
(As this boat was completed by the first owner, there is no RCD or HIN.)
